Neta Polturak is an Israeli musician based in Berlin since 2014 and formerly part of the minimal project Moon Gear. The solo work combines layered guitar, loops and narrative songwriting. The debut album 'Every Magic Has Its Cost' was recorded during the pandemic with musicians Michael Itzaky and Or Dromi and released in 2023.
This short documentary follows Neta Polturak through Berlin, her musical beginnings, and her relationship with the city. It closes with a live version of “American Horror,” recorded at Noize Fabrik.
Berlin-based artist Dane Joe reworks “Wicked Game” with Neta Polturak. Recorded ahead of the EP Obsessions and Distractions, the session marked OCTUBRE.TV's first collaboration with Baby Satan Records.
